East West University Sports Club organised an inter-private university badminton tournament titled ‘EWU WINTER SMASH 2016’ with the support of Bangladesh Badminton Federation from February 24 to March 1 on its university premises in the capital, says a press release.
A total of 24 private university participated in 4 different categories as in Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Boys Singles, and Mixed Doubles. East West University won the title in Mixed Doubles and Girls Doubles. North south University won the championship of boys’ doubles and International University of Business Agriculture Technology saves the boys singles championship.
The other participant universities are, Daffodil International University, Dhaka International University, Independent University Bangladesh, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, Bangladesh University, Notre Dame University Bangladesh, South East University, BRAC University, University Liberal Arts Bangladesh, City University, University of Information Technology & Science, London College of Legal Studies (South), American International University of Bangladesh, Manarat International University, Holy Family Modern Medical College, Popular Medical College, Anowar Khan Modern Medical College, United International University, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Green University and Stamford University.
